STRETCHI

An electronic instrument composed of five strings and a pressure pad. The instrument can play in any musical key and the pressure pad can be used to control velocity or pitch dependant on Stretchi’s switches. The strings are made of conductive rubber, allowing for the feeling of an acoustic instrument, with the possibilities of an electronic instrument.

Stretchi can be linked to Ableton to allow endless possibilities for composition, live performance or experimentation to create new exciting sounds that aren’t possible on most MIDI controllers. The stretchy aspect allows for an intuitive and expressive way to bring the design of an acoustic instrument to the forefront of electronic performance.
